Movies…I watched most of them this year.

The 10 listed here moved me in some way…

One film re-established my love of film at a time when I was getting bored with the industry.

That would be number 1.

Here are my Top Ten Movies of 2011.

If you watch one of these you missed and enjoy it….then the list will be a success.

10- Lincoln Lawyer  - Matthew McConaughey and a captivating story make for a nice time.

9- Source Code – Bowie the director is making movies as good as his Dad’s songs.

8- Limitless – Take drugs to be a better version of you…and Bradley Cooper too.

7- The Tree of Life – Different and interesting with some stellar acting from Brad Pitt…not for everyone.

6- Bridesmaids – Funny stuff….best comedy of the year.

5- The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo – Riveting experience from Fincher…Daniel Craig is excellent but Rooney Mara as Lisbeth Salander…wow.

4- The Help – The cast is fantastic and the movie is touching and special….to me.

3- The Ides of March – Clooney and Gosling bring the noise to this sort of political thriller..its more about the evil that men do.

2- The Descendants – Alexander Payne has a unique style…and this movie was engaging and moving.

1- Drive – This is what movies should be….a little bit of everything and hard to describe.

Ryan Gosling and Rooney Mara rocked my world in 2011.
